As I approach my 55th birthday, I have suddenly found myself unemployed. My husband has a great career, our children are self-sufficient, almost....one is a senior in college so things are not that bleak. However, I will have to wait for the kitchen remodel, the new deck or the dream of having a professional come in to plug and lime our yard and put out mulch. I know my sacrifices are minimal in the scheme of things in the world today. I plan to freelance in the myriad of things I love to do. One of which is writing and my blog will be focused on the day to day life of a baby boomer. Hope you will enjoy!
